A Spiritual Journey Through Earth’s Ascension. This course offers students an experiential exploration of consciousness, spiritual awakening, ascension, cosmic cycles, soul origins, and humanity’s evolving role during this time of collective change. Each two-hour class would combine lecture, discussion, guided meditation, and reflective exercises, creating a thoughtful and engaging format similar in spirit to Ways to Connect to Spirit, while offering students a deeper dive into metaphysical themes related to personal and planetary awakening. This course would be a meaningful addition for students interested in spirituality, consciousness studies, and personal growth.

Learn the history of navigation and the use of the sextant with real life problems. All charts, forms and tables will be provided. The last class will be held at the beach where students will take a sun shot with a sextant and plot their position. This class is for those who want to learn about history of non-instrument as well as the use of the sextant.

Students will learn the basics of acting using sensory work, improvisation, relaxation exercises, and scene work. Students will be assigned a scene with a partner. After rehearsing they will present it as a 'staged reading' with movement, props, and costumes. No memorization is required, just a love of theater.

Budding home chefs will learn the essentials of knife handling. Learn what knives are best suited for cooking and butchering and how to properly hold the knife while practicing safety. Students will be instructed on safest ways to chop, dice, julienne, and slice, and learn why these unique cuts of your foods can add or take away from the appearance of your finished dishes. Knife sharpening and the importance of sharp knives will be discussed. Whether you are planning home events or a large family get together, knife skills are essential. This workshop will help alleviate any apprehension you may feel while guiding you to a safer, more efficient kitchen. Students should bring knives used at home with cutting board, towel, and apron. Students will be asked to bring food items the second and third class.

This course presents scientific approaches to psychic abilities. Have you always wanted to know more about paranormal experiences? First, we will discuss this fascinating topic in terms of the latest scientific research and theories. In subsequent meetings, we will do mini-experiments, with suggestions for exploring the phenomena further. In our final session, we will cover some multi-disciplinary questions that arise when studying parapsychology and the answers given by contemporary researchers.

In this course you will have the opportunity to understand the origins of Reiki and receive its healing benefits. You will also learn and experience other healing modalities such as: Qigong, Light Language, experiential meditations, introduction to your galactic origins, and learning how to connect to your spirit guides. Whether you are a certified energy healer or you simply wish to increase your spiritual awareness, this course will open doorways to that area of thought. Integrating heart and mind consciousness to then merge into your daily lives or your healing practice are the gifts you will receive after completion.

You don't need to know Yiddish to enjoy this course! We'll start with the two daughters left out of Fiddler on the Roof and examine excerpts from Sons and Daughters, Chaim Grade's recently translated novel about Jewish life in 1930s Europe. Isaac Bashevis Singer and some contemporary writers also have a lot to say about family relationships affected by both external and internal factors.
